| The United States’ largest and premier annual pigeon show for 2011 Sponsored by the National Pigeon Association Hosted by the San Diego Metropolitan Pigeon Club In cooperation of the Los Angeles Pigeon Club The Show promises to be a San Diego grand event Already known for its loyal following and long history among pigeon fanciers, this show is expected to be one of the most exhibited and talked-about pigeon show in years. It’s taken 33 years for it to return to the city, and in January 2009, when it was announced that San Diego was awarded the show, organizers were hard at work billing the event through the clubs and key principals world-wide. Many people in several countries are already talking about it. Why? One of the obvious reasons is that San Diego is a premier destination in January, and it’ll be a vacation destination for their families. Many of the shows recently have been held in colder climates of the U.S.because many pigeon exhibitors live in the rural areas. So this one is well anticipated, especially since the hotel is near the airport and centrally located in the heart of San Diego. |

| The Fantail show will NOT be judged by Mario Fritsche from Germany Sorry to say, but there has been a problem with Mario Fritzsche in that he has broken his foot and has to have surgery. Therefore he will NOT be the judge for the National meet in January. Our alternate judge that was supposed to judge in Mario's place if Mario couldn't make it also has a problem and will not be able to be here so The judge for the National-CFC-WFC combined meet will be Ben Ferber. There will be some extra color classes exhibited that some of you aren't used to having because this is a combined meet so we are combining some color classes from both clubs to try to cover all classes. We will have an auction of some very good birds from the U.S. & Canada The auction will be held on Sat at noon. We will also take some phone bids. We will let everyone know phone numbers so that if you would like to make a bid on certain birds you will be able to. NPA bands for young birds are not necessary for this show. Make sure that you get your room reservations early. The rooms are going quickly. If you want to donate something or birds for the auction contact Steve Wallace he is taking care of auction items. If you want to ship in for the show we have some facilities for this. We also have someone that is going to take your birds to the show hall and put your birds in the respective pens for each exhibitor. If you want to wait to send the birds home a few days later in the following week we will take care of that also. There will be a CFC/WFC Banquet on Saturday night after the show to give away awards and to visit. "COME EAT WITH US AND ENJOY OTHER FANTAIL FANCIERS COMPANY"!
